We will be doing a large kickoff Night Church Memorial day weekend for Hands Across Chicago. We will also be hosting a Night Church workshop in the Rooted Sanctuary for anyone who is starting or wants to get involved in Night Church. That workshop will be from 5:00 - 6:30 pm and we're asking anyone who is doing regular presence events on the Northside this summer/fall to come and present what you''ll be doing. (Even if you aren't going to call it Night Church and something Global Sounding like "G3". We still want you there.) We'll have worship, games, grilling, and a ministry team from YWAM called GX International that does breakdancing, skateboarding and freestyle poetry. We'll mix that all up with Phenom and friends and the Gospel According to Blues. There will be an open mic time where folks can share their songs, poems or testimonies. Anyone is welcome to show up and participate. This will be a great event to invite our neighbors and their kids to and a great start for us as the Church on the Northside of Chicago.
Also, we'll have tacos.
