Because of Covid-19 we have turned the Convoy of Hope Chicago Community Event into a back-to-school food & resource Drive-Through Distribution for the Marquette Park Community in South Chicago. On August 22, starting at 11:00 am, we will serve 1,200+ households with groceries, produce, 11 lbs. of meat, new backpacks & school supplies, new Bombas socks, a hygiene & PPE kit, diapers, and gift certificates for haircuts from area salons and barbers. As always we will bring together church partners who will offer prayer to those in need, as well as business and community partners. Our goal is to bring hope and needed resources to all who attend. Because of Covid-19 we will be following all protocols and social distancing and we are limiting the number of volunteers that can serve in this event to 50.
